LC Stuffing His Face

Hello I haven't posted anything on LC in such a long time. I have so much to say, but for now enjoy this little video of LC stuffing his face with peaches last night.

Happy Birthday!!

Awwww.... my baby is officially a toddler as of yesterday. 365 days ago I held this beautiful baby boy and he completely took my breathe away.


One year later nothing has changed. This little guy still takes my breathe away.


I love you so very much papasito!! As much as I dreaded this day I'm happy that you're 1 year old, happy and most importantly healthy. Looking forward to another year as you become your own little person more each day.

All Done with Holy Sacraments

I can't believe that all 3 of my kids did their holy sacraments within 3 months from each other. It started with LC's baptism in Feb.


Then, son's confirmation in Apr. We look a little funny because we were caught off guard.


Finally, daughter's first communion yesterday. There's E receive her first holy eucharist.


With all these parties we are now broke and need to apply for a loan lol.

Almost 1 Year

I can't believe that a year has gone by so quickly. It felt like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant. Then, 1 year ago yesterday I went on maternity leave and started counting the days for LC's arrival. I wish I could just freeze time so I can enjoy him a bit longer as an infant.

This year has brought so much joy and happiness just watching him grow. With my children so far apart I forgot how sweet it is to have a baby. This time around I've been very fortunate to bf this long. We're 3 weeks away from reaching our goal. Now that it's quickly approaching I have decided to continue with extend bfing. I enjoy our time, our bonding. And besides, I can continue giving him all the nutrients that he needs.

LC has now been taking a few quick steps when I let go. He's just so eager to walk. He prefers walking around the house now than crawling. We hold him by one hand and he's on the go. He is now throwing fish kisses to us and cracks up when we say awwww thank you LC.

LC loves his veggies especially broccoli. He prefers to eat on his own which I love to see.

There's something about babies feeding themselves that makes it so cute and adorable. He eats a variety of foods, he even likes salmon. I use to feed him before the rest of us, but now I make an effort to cook easy and fast meals and that are good for LC to eat with us. He loves the family time we have around the table.

In Feb. we baptized LC. This is big brother giving him a blessing. One by one family and friends

came up to LC to give him a blessing. It was really nice to see everyone come up and do their own little thing in blessing him. I think LC was tripping out more than anything.

Anyways, what a fun year. Now I have to start planning his birthday party. :)

The Many Things LC Can Do

Since my last post about LC had learned how to pull himself up to a standing position. Well, little munchkin is now getting comfortable letting go and standing for a few second. I'm not ready for him to start walking. I can barely keep up with him crawling all over the house. LC is such a babbler. He babbles so much that we swear that some of his words are real words. I know of a fact that he's saying "what's that?", but "that" comes out first. When he's saying "that" he points and with his middle finger too lol. When he's trying to reach for something he wants he says "up". LC loves loves the phone. Anything that might look like a phone he'll grab and hold it up to his ear and starts to talk and laugh. Hmmmm...wonder where he gets that from. LC loves to look at himself in the mirror and watch himself crack up doing it. He's is starting to discover body parts which is so cute. Since we co-sleep most of the times, one morning he woke up and started to poke my nose, poke my eyes and pull my lips. He does that to us when we are face to face with him. We have been teaching him since he started doing this. Another body part he has discover is his penis. Let's see, oh thanks to big brother and sister, LC now enjoys going into an elevator. As soon as we go in he starts to giggle and get excited. As it starts to go up or down he'll squeal and laugh. Stopping is much more hilarious. People laugh when they see him act this way. LC is a riot. He's doing so much and so fast. I'm not ready, I'm not ready for LC to turn 1 next month. I get teary eyed when I start to think next month he'll become a toddler. Hubby and son are looking forward to all the fun things, but daughter and I aren't. We want LC to be a baby for a much longer time, maybe forever. Oh well it's part of life and we all have to grow up someday, including me. :)
