Happy Thanksgiving!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Day! Enjoy your time with your love ones and don't be ashame to stuff your face. I know I won't. I'm eating for 2!!

Today I had an appt and to my surprise I got another u/s. This time we got to see the baby move around like crazy. We still haven't heard the heartbeat, but I'll take an u/s over a doppler anyday.

The baby has grown so much within the last two weeks. The baby is measuring on time and my 1st tri screening all came out good. Next month I'm going to have the big u/s done on me. This one will be a more detailed u/s. If we want we can find out the gender of the baby that day. Hubby really wants to find out, but I don't. I want to be surprised just like I was with my other two. I hope he can wait because if he finds out he will NOT be able to keep it a secret, at least from me he won't.

Doesn't the baby look like he/she is ready to give you a big hug?

1. When I was little I used to be a thumb sucker and an ear tugger. I've stopped the thumb sucking, but I'm still an ear tugger. I especially LOVE tugging on little kids ears.

2. I used to live in Manhattan, New York. Sometimes I wish I still lived there.

6. Here's one that I thought about the other day. On my 22nd birthday my dad and half sisters decided to throw me a "surprise" birthday party. Well when I got the house I walked into a room full of strangers. My sisters needed an excuse to have a party at their home with their friends so they used me and my dad fell for it. I was so mad I decided to get drunk and caused a commotion.

New U/S Pic

This was taken today at my appt. We thought we were going to hear the heartbeat, but instead we got to see our peanut again. Look at how much the baby has grown in 4 wks. Hubby was so amazed at how much his bambino or bambina has grown. He was ohhhing and ahhhing the whole time.

Almost Done!

Next week I'll be 12w and I'm so happy. These last couple of months have been so nerve recking beginning with my 2ww up until now. I've been careful at every little single thing I do. I sit slowly, I get up slowly, I walk slower I even turn slowly in my sleep and I don't lift anything less than 2 lbs heavy. I know I'm over doing it, but you can never be too safe. Now that I'm approaching the end of my 1st tri I'm so relieved.
Next week we get to hear the heartbeat for the first time, I can't wait!!

Meet The Peanut.

This is the new addition to our family. I made an appt to see a dr yesterday and I got lucky. I just couldn't wait until Monday and besides the N.P has been out for over a week and I didn't want another cancellation. I saw a sweet and great dr yesterday who did everything that she was suppose to do. At the end she did an u/s and we got to see our baby's heartbeat beat away. It was freakin' amazing!! Hubby was so stoked and so excited that he didn't stop smiling until he fell asleep last night.
According to my u/s and LMP the baby measured yesterday at 8w5d. This is not definite, but for now I'm a week ahead.

Other news, I was told that my 3 hour glucose tolerance test came up normal, NORMAL...wtf!?!?! I was so upset to find out that I went through torture for nothing. She told me to stop poking myself. My sugar levels are where they're suppose to be. What a relief. Because of this diet I was on I was feeling so hungry and nauseous. I just couldn't stand the feeling I was going through. I haven't gained any weight because of this. Now, although I still need to be careful, I could eat a well balanced meal without too much restriction.

Double Argh!!

I just lost my entry for today, so really quick, no dr appt today. Friday they cancelled on us so we go in next Monday. I'm home sick today and I feel really crappy. I'm also hungry.
I have no more energy to re-do my entry. It got deleted right when I hit publish post.
Oh well I hope I feel better tomorrow.
