I Passed!!

Yes! I passed my glucose fasting last Friday. I'm so happy! I have to take another test in March to make sure my levels are low. The standard range is 70-99 and I got 75. I'm also gaining weight, finally. I had lost 4 lbs at the beginning and now I'm up + 1. My midwife said I should only be gaining 1 1/2 -2 lbs a month.
As for baby, he/she has a good strong heartbeat and sounds good and my blood pressure is looking good too. Since I had preeclampsia with daughter she's keeping a close eye on me. Other than that I'm feeling pretty good, except for my sciatica. This has been hurting so bad that sometimes it's getting a little hard to deal with. My midwife offered some acupuncture treatments as part of my prenatal care, but I don't know. I've heard good things, but I'm scared. If it gets too bad then I might have to consider some treatments. Anyways, we'll see how it goes.

As for our move, we're finished. Moving sucks ass and to think that we will be doing this again at the end of the year. It's weird. I hear so much more at my in-law's house than I did at my old place. I was away from the busy streets and here I'm above a major busy street. Everything echos up and then I hear the shots from the police academy that's a little further up where I'm at. I think once I get use to the area I'll be o.k. and I'll get to sleep a little better.

Congrats on passing! That's great!

I hope your sciatica calms down soon. I've never tried accupuncture for anything but I've heard good things about it.

Congrats on passing your glucose test and being done with the move. I agree with you about moving! It does suck.

Thanks for the support on my chart and also on the 2ww. Boy does it seem to slow down just when you're getting close. The weird feelings I had in my stomach/lower abs earlier in the 2ww weren't so much cramping but just movement that I could feel. Maybe miniture cramps- who knows. And now once in a while I just feel a slight flutter. Almost like a mini vibration. May be my imagination as otherwise I'm not having many symptoms.

Anyway, thanks for the cheers! It really keeps me going. Do you have your chart from the cycle you got pregnant? I'd love to see it!
Have a great day Gee.
